Katherine Conrad, Executive Director at NEORide

As the Executive Director for NEORide, Katherine Conrad oversees the day-to-day needs of 25 transit members across Ohio, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia and Michigan, including executing special projects, grants and marketing. In 2019, she spearheaded the effort to launch EZfare, the largest multi-county mobile ticketing system in the country. Her focus is on expanding regional transportation and coordinated services. Katherine has been able to obtain over $9 million in state and federal funding for NEORide agencies to make this work possible. In 2021, under her leadership, NEORide was awarded Best Smart Ticketing App by Transport Ticketing, a global recognition.

Kamelia Jones, Senior Retail Systems & Digital Manager at Greater Anglia, is an experienced technology practitioner, with over 12 years of smart ticketing expertise spanning across technical, project delivery, operational management of successful ticketing schemes and supporting various franchise project bids. Kamelia has managed several multi-million-pound projects from contract, to project, to live operation and full lifecycle eco-system support, resulting in successful digital ticketing conversion. Kamelia’s current role spans across strategy, implementation and customer experience, spending the majority of her time working with external stakeholders within government and regulatory bodies. With interests around successfully embedding and tailoring technology projects within a business, driving both internal stakeholder adoption along with high end customer satisfaction. Kamelia holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing & Information Technology and has worked in the rail sector for over 16 years.

Ralph Gambetta has a strong involvement into the transportation and mobility sector. During his career, he has built up a large experience in smart ticketing. Since 2005, he is in charge of institutional relations and business development at Calypso Networks Association (CNA) an organisation promoting the adoption of open standards in ticketing on a global scale. From 2014 onwards, he is acting Secretary General of the association. Further he is chair of the UITP IT&I Commission and chair of the Smart Ticketing Alliance. Ralph is also member of various associations dedicated to sustainable mobility.
